We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Calgary office.
Available shifts:
Morning / Afternoon / Nights.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating inbound and outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly transportation targets while ensuring a high level of service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers to proactively address service risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely, transparent communication.
- Analyze lane data, on‑time performance and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and third‑party carriers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with customers, brokers, and carriers to resolve discrepancies related to pricing, service levels, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancies of quality, quantity, and schedule.
- Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation.
- Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the trucking industry and/or dispatch experience managing time‑sensitive shipments.
- Educational background in Supply Chain Management (or other relevant area such as Business).
- Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment.
- Knowledge of the transportation industry and North American geography is considered an asset.
- Positive attitude with good people skills.
- Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software.
