Lead fleet operations at WINS as a Fleet Manager, focusing on efficient logistics and timely transportation services. This role combines leadership with hands-on management in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Logistics & Donation Centre Manager, you'll coordinate a team of 20 staff members and manage a fleet of five trucks. Your key tasks will involve optimizing fleet usage, ensuring vehicle safety, and improving service delivery. You will need to apply your strong organizational and communication skills to promote a culture of safety and reliability within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee transportation schedules and pickup deliveries
• Ensure fleet compliance with safety standards
• Monitor performance and identify efficiency improvements
• Provide training and mentorship for staff
• Maintain fleet maintenance records and inspections
Requirements:
• College education in logistics or supply chain
• Minimum 5 years in fleet or transportation
• Leadership experience of 1-2 years
• Forklift certification and clean driver’s license
• Must pass a Criminal Record Check
