Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to coordinate drivers, schedules, and transportation operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating with drivers, monitoring deliveries and routes, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring timely and safe transportation services. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the efficient dispatch of drivers, vehicles, and shipments.
• Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations.
• Monitor personnel workloads and locations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
• Handle issues or emergencies that may arise during transportation operations.
• Work closely with operations and management teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain computer and manual records of mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses, and generate reports.

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 1-2 years of similar experience is required.

• Office-based or transportation operations environment.
• May require evening, weekend, or on-call shifts depending on operations.
