Responsibilities
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks for the transportation of goods and materials
- Drive lighter and special-purpose trucks as required
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre‑trip, en route, and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Monitor and inspect the vehicle’s condition, including tires, brakes, lights, cold storage units, and other essential equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Record detailed information on cargo, hours of service, mileage, and fuel usage
- Receive and transmit dispatch information to and from central operations
- Languages:
English - Credentials & Licences:
Driver's License (Class 1 or A) - Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience:
1 to less than 7 months
Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
