Join a supportive team as a School Bus Attendant, providing reliable transport for students with diverse needs. This part-time role offers evenings and weekends off for a balanced lifestyle.
As a School Bus Attendant, you’ll ensure safe, calm transportation for students with disabilities, building trust with children and their families. This part-time position requires working split shifts Monday to Friday, allowing you to make a difference while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. You will also enjoy summers, holidays, and evenings free.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with student boarding and deboarding the bus
• Support the driver in student securements
• Ensure students' safety during transport
• Document incidents and communicate with families
• Help with emergency procedures as needed
Requirements:
• Experience in child care or with individuals with disabilities
• AM and PM availability, Monday to Friday
• Strong English communication skills
• Clean criminal background and drug screening
• Class 5 Alberta driver’s license is a bonus
