Our Class 1 Hourly Drivers are responsible for safely transporting freight, completing timely pickups and deliveries, and maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.

Routes and operating areas will vary depending on the assigned location and operational requirements.

Commerce Link Logistics is looking for dedicated and safety-oriented Class 1, Pay Per Mile Drivers to join our team at our Calgary location.

Calgary Hourly - 7 Open Positions

• Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units safely on assigned routes
• Perform timely pickup and delivery of freight
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Ensure proper securement of all loads in compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain accurate electronic or paper logbooks, with E-Logs preferred
• Comply with all applicable provincial and Canadian transportation regulations, including Hours of Service
• Communicate effectively with Dispatch regarding routes, delays, and updates
• Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
• Report incidents, delays, equipment concerns, and mechanical issues promptly
  
  Follow all Commerce Link Logistics policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
• Clean driver's abstract and strong safety record
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience
• Knowledge of local and regional routes
• Experience with dry van, reefer, and heater equipment is an asset
• Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations

• Strong safety mindset and commitment to compliance
• Reliable and punctual with strong time-management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Problem-solving ability in changing road and weather conditions
• Professional and positive attitude

• Home-daily opportunities may be available depending on the assigned location and route

• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
