Helicopter Pilot Goose Bay

Join Custom Helicopters as a Helicopter Pilot based in Goose Bay, ensuring safety and precision in rotary-wing operations. Utilize your skills across various missions, including medical transport and HEMS.

This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager and requires a Canadian Commercial Pilot License (H). You will use checklists, complete daily inspections, and devise flight plans that prioritize safety and passenger comfort. You'll work closely with maintenance teams and manage your paperwork meticulously after each flight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate aircraft according to SOPs and regulations

• Complete daily inspections before flights

• Prepare detailed flight plans considering various factors

• Conduct preflight safety checks and consult maintenance crews

• Communicate flying conditions and maintenance needs

Requirements:

• 1000 total flight hours including 500 PIC hours

• VFR or IFR experience with relevant aircraft

• Experience in remote locations preferred

• Valid Canadian pilot license and passport

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
