Driver Examiner Position in Southern Alberta

Become a crucial part of SOUTHLAND Transportation as a Driver Examiner, focusing on testing new employees and evaluating current drivers. This full-time opportunity requires effective communication and some travel in Southern Alberta.

As a Driver Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting road tests and evaluations for drivers. With in-house training provided in collaboration with Alberta Transportation, you’ll enhance your skills while ensuring safety standards are upheld. This position operates Monday through Friday, requiring availability during summer months and school breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Class 2S road tests across Southern Alberta

• Evaluate new and existing drivers throughout the year

• Perform ride alongs with new employees

Requirements:

• Class 2S license preferred; training available

• Current Driver Examiner license or willingness to obtain one

• Strong computer and tablet skills

• Clear 10-year commercial driver's abstract

• High level of confidentiality maintained
