As a high-travel CDL Driver, you will operate specialized rail inspection vehicles while traveling across Canada for extended periods. This position emphasizes adherence to safety regulations and effective communication within your team, making it essential for successful operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel across Canada for 3-4 months of field operations
• Drive hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars on various terrains
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Assist with safety testing and data interpretation
• Communicate clearly regarding safety concerns and track conditions
Requirements:
• Valid CDL Class 5 or above with air brake endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to meet physical and sensory job demands
• Successfully pass a health assessment and background check
