Swamper​/Labourer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Swamper to join our team. The Swamper plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of our transportation and logistics services. This position involves assisting drivers with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Must have a licence and reliable vehicle to get you to and from our yard. MUST be able to life 50+ lbs with no problem. Must be reliable and show up on time, no shows will not be tolerated at all.

• Assist drivers in loading and unloading cargo from vehicles.
• Ensure that all materials are secured properly for transport.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and cargo for safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading area.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members to coordinate tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during operations.
• Assist with inventory management as needed.

• MUST HAVE A Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe handling of materials.
• Basic problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during loading or unloading.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to transportation is a plus.
