Casual Courier Driver

DHL Express is looking for a Casual Courier Driver in Calgary, AB. This is an on-call position requiring availability Monday to Friday, 9:30–18:00.

• Drive a van and 5-ton truck to complete assigned deliveries and pickups
• Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs throughout the shift
• Scan and process freight as per agreed procedures and Security Policies
• Accurately sort and process inbound material by deadlines
• Move freight within the warehouse area as required
• Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands
• Perform accurate reporting
• Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area
• Participate in maintaining a safe and cooperative work environment
• Interact with customers over the phone and at the service point
• Complete other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions
• Good knowledge of MS Office, comfortable Excel user
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
• Able to handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Minimum one year warehouse/customer service experience (asset)
• Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset)

$24.96/hour, increasing as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
