Drive equipment and support yard operations as a Class 1 Driver and Shop Hand in Calgary, using trucks, forklifts, and skid steers.
Element Technical Services is hiring a full-time Class 1 Driver and Shop Hand within its Calgary operations. The position involves transporting goods, handling equipment, assisting maintenance staff, and maintaining shop and yard areas. You will work independently while communicating effectively and following direction.
Key Responsibilities:- Move equipment around the yard and transport goods
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and one-ton trucks
- Load and unload supplies and equipment
- Assist with part pickups, hotshots, and maintenance
- Maintain shop and yard areas as required
- Hold a Class 1 license with clean driver’s abstract
- Bring industry knowledge as an asset
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Take direction and communicate effectively with teams
- Lift up to 50 pounds
