Working in person, you will support construction transportation across Calgary and surrounding communities. The position includes semi-trailer loading and unloading, material securement, spotting, inspections, driver logs, and hazard assessments. Candidates need commercial vehicle experience, strong safety orientation, English fluency, and willingness to work overtime or Saturdays when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport construction materials within Calgary and surrounding areas
Load and unload semi trailers for transport
Secure construction materials and equipment safely
Complete pre-trip inspections before vehicle operation
Maintain driver logs and hazard assessments
Requirements:
Required Class 1 Driver's License
Manual transmission operation is mandatory
Three years commercial vehicle experience required
Valid safety certificates are considered assets
Complete CSTS training before employment
Bring local route knowledge, manual transmission capability, and documented commercial vehicle experience to construction deliveries in Calgary.
