Fly BE02 aircraft for Sunwest Aviation in Calgary, applying disciplined safety practices and strong decision-making throughout charter operations. Full-time schedules are 10 and 4 or 5 and 2.
Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the BE02 Captain ensures safe and effective aircraft operation. The position requires an Airline Transport Pilot Licence, Instrument and Type ratings when required, and substantial multi-engine experience. Captains follow company requirements, Transport Canada standards, and CARs while completing assigned duties. Travel to the United States for training is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safe and effective operation of BE02 aircraft
Execute duties associated with BE02 aircraft operations
Follow company, Transport Canada, and CARs safety requirements
Complete additional duties assigned by flight leadership
Participate in 10 and 4 or 5 and 2 scheduling
Requirements:
Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence
Possess valid Instrument and Type ratings when required
Have 3,000 hours total time and 2,000 hours PIC
Have 1,500 hours multi-engine and 1,000 hours multi-PIC
Meet travel, RAIC, background check, and communication requirements
Bring BE02 command experience, aviation safety expertise, and sound judgment to Sunwest Aviation’s Calgary-based charter operation.
