Class 5 Building Materials Driver

Operate commercial vehicles safely while delivering building materials from Shoemaker Drywall Supplies in Calgary. Support onsite placements through physical labour in all weather conditions.
This Driver Class 5 position serves customer job sites through transportation, material placement, and professional communication. You will maintain dispatch contact, verify load security, and assist warehouse staff. The work also includes preparing trucks for reloading and resolving delivery issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver building materials to customer-directed assigned areas
- Prioritize personal safety and surrounding site safety
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and trades
- Maintain dispatch contact and resolve delivery issues
- Prepare trucks and assist warehouse staff as needed
- Valid Class 5 or G driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic mathematics and hand tool knowledge
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
