This Class 5 Driver position serves customer job sites through GMS Family of Locations in Calgary. Drivers deliver materials, verify load accuracy and security, maintain dispatch contact, and help prepare trucks for reloading. The work includes physical labour in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver building materials to customer-directed areas
- Verify load security and accuracy before delivery
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and trades
- Maintain dispatch contact and resolve delivery issues
- Assist warehouse staff and prepare trucks for reloading
- Valid Class 5 or G driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic mathematics and hand tool skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
