Hourly Rate: $22-$25/hr
Job Description Day-to-DayInsight Global is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our client in the alloy distribution industry local to Calgary, AB, on a full-time permanent basis. Within the role, you will be responsible for receiving orders, making deliveries with a company supplied vehicle (Full Class 5 License Necessary), picking orders from the warehouse and tracking inventory within the inventory tracking system.
You'll be working closely alongside the Warehouse Manager to ensure items are picked correctly and prepared for shipment safely. It would be an asset for a candidate to hold their forklift ticket and come with experience from the alloy piping industry. The successful candidate must be a strong written and verbal communicator as there will be customer interaction during deliveries.
Haves
- 1-to-3+ years of warehouse experience
- Experience with shipping and receiving
- Strong understanding of inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures
- Prior experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts
- Full Class 5 Drivers License
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working in the industrial alloy industry
