The Dock Receiver role is perfect for those who enjoy helping Canadians, collaborating across teams and have the autonomy to work independently.
The Dock Receiver will be responsible for coordinating supplier deliveries upon arrival to the distribution center. They will answer the doors, sign for deliveries, refuse any shipments that are unsafe or unsuited for 's quality standards and report any health and safety concerns immediately to the management team. The Dock Receiver position will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that the deliveries are organized and ready for daily production.

As soon as possibleResponsibilities:
Answer the door for supplier deliveries.Sign for any supplier deliveries, ensuring that there is an accurate count on pieces delivered and that address information is correct.Refuse any unsafe shipments orproductdeemedto be unsuitablein accordance 'sstandards; pictures should be taken as back up evidence in these situations.Ensure that all JIT suppliers are prepared and ready for the beginning of each production shift.Create andmaintainallappropriate logsand reports, as requested by the Receiving Manager, including putting logs, receiving manifests, etc.Ensure that dock and loading bay areas are all kept clean,clearand safe throughout the day.Assist with the Receiving Coordinator duties asrequired, for example investigating missing product or boxes from Suppliers.Assistwith all other warehouse projects, including but not limited to, put-away, inventory product moves, adding and removing locations, and warehouse reorganization.Other dutiesinclude,working assigned P. O's, customer care re-stockcartsand other duties asrequired.Qualifications:2-years of experience in a warehouse environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and detail orientedExcellent time management skillsHighly organizedSelf-motivated, initiative-driven, and team-mindedForklift experience is considered anassist.Working Environment:
This position is in a warehouse environment and requires extended periods of walking and standing. Ability tolift upto 50 pounds.Conditions of Employment:
