We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Shipper/Receiver based out of Calgary, AB location (5329 72 Ave SE Bay #78). Usual hours are M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however, a variant of an 8-hour day, in a full‑time position may occur (ex: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm or 7:30 am to 4:30 pm).
RESPONSIBILITIES- Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and on time.
- Verify products are correctly identified, labeled, and undamaged in accordance with company procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup.
- Move inventory to designated storage and put‑away areas efficiently.
- Coordinate and schedule incoming shipments to support smooth warehouse operations.
- Report receiving discrepancies to the Purchasing Department.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts.
- Provide back up support to Counter staff as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse setting required, preferably an industrial setting.
- Experience with hand tools and warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklifts, etc.)
- Proactive approach to all tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Effective time management, and punctuality.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.)
- Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
- Technical expertise and knowledge of company products.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Team player who works productively with wide range of people.
- Basic level or higher knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis (product).
- Ability to spend extended periods of time standing, walking, bending, etc.
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination for branch equipment.
