Our long-standing client is seeking a  Shipper/Receiver  to join their team on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, with a primary focus on receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products move efficiently throughout the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.

Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.

Load and unload products safely while adhering to established health and safety standards.

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as required.

Organize warehouse materials and products to ensure an efficient and orderly work environment.

Operate material handling equipment and warehouse tools in a safe and responsible manner.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure products are received, processed, and shipped within required timelines.

Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory concerns to management.

Assist with general warehouse operations and support team members as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment at all times.

Education

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent is preferred.

Additional training or certifications related to warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations would be considered an asset.

Experience

2+ years experience in shipping and receiving is required.

Experience working within a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.

Experience handling inventory, shipping documentation, and warehouse organization is beneficial.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Basic computer skills and comfort learning warehouse management systems.

Commitment to providing dependable and accurate work.

Base Salary:  $50,000 per year

Salary based on experience.

Full benefits provided after probationary period.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday

8:30am – 5:00pm

This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
