• Effective operation of assigned shifts, warehouse activities including picking, shipping and receiving.
• Communicating and implementing change as directed.
• Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
• Providing leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
• Proven ability to have discipline discussions and give honest feedback in a professional manner.
• Establishing, maintaining and promoting high standards of customer service.
• Liaising with drivers, customers and warehouse personnel.
• Ensuring compliance with OHS procedures and practices.
• Supervision of all staff under your direct or indirect control.
• Administration duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achieved.
• Ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently.
• Driving and maintaining 5S principles within their work area and the building.
• Continuously monitoring the performance and activities of the shift operations through the use of KPIs, with a primary focus on cost controls.

• Minimum 5 years industry related experience; 2–3 years of which is in a supervisory role.
• MS Excel and systems knowledge proficiency in Microsoft Office required; SAP experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and solid analytical skills.
• Cross‑departmental experience with the ability to develop strong business relationships.
• Union experience an asset.
• Conflict Management skills are essential.
