Our long-standing client is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join their team on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, with a primary focus on receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products move efficiently throughout the warehouse.

Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Load and unload products safely while adhering to established health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as required.
- Organize warehouse materials and products to ensure an efficient and orderly work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment and warehouse tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure products are received, processed, and shipped within required timelines.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory concerns to management.
- Assist with general warehouse operations and support team members as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment at all times.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent is preferred.
- Additional training or certifications related to warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations would be considered an asset.
- 2+ years experience in shipping and receiving is required.
- Experience working within a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Experience handling inventory, shipping documentation, and warehouse organization is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning warehouse management systems.
- Commitment to providing dependable and accurate work.
Base Salary: $50,000 per year
- Salary based on experience.
- Full benefits provided after probationary period.
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am – 5:00pm
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
