Warehouse Associate

Agilus is recruiting for several Warehouse Associate positions in the Supply Chain & Distribution in Calgary, Alberta.

Hourly Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. Weekly pay includes 4% vacation pay. Opportunity for extension or permanent placement.

Work

Shifts:

• Morning Shift – Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift – Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Night Shift – Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Accurately select product according to the customer’s order specifications.
• Load and unload product onto or from delivery vehicles, pallets, etc.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform picking/packing duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
• Operate Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for picking, quality, inventory, shipping, and other functions.
• Determine the appropriate destination of product by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, and sorting packages accordingly.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• May or may not be responsible for operating warehouse and computer equipment.

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environment in a similar role.
• Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 lbs and wear CSA-approved steel-toe footwear.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequency devices.
• Ability to walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.
• Physical ability to stand 15%, walk 15%, lift 40% of work time.
• Must be able to manipulate, feel, and handle large packages.
• Must work at a challenging pace in a fast‑paced environment to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
