Champion Staffing is looking for a reliable Electric Power Jack Operator to join our client's busy produce warehouse in Southeast Calgary. In this role, you’ll keep the floor moving by operating an electric power jack, handling and staging pallets of fresh fruits, and loading outgoing trucks. If you are a skilled equipment operator who handles heavy lifting with ease, prioritizes safety, and knows how to keep a fast‑paced food distribution hub running smoothly, we want you!
WhatYou’ll Do
- Safely and efficiently operate an electric power jack (electric pallet jack) to move, stack, and stage pallets of fresh produce in a fast‑paced environment.
- Accurately label, wrap, and secure pallets to ensure they are fully prepared for safe transit.
- Efficiently load and unload incoming/outgoing trucks and containers.
- Perform manual lifting of 60–70 lbs regularly to assist with packing, palletizing, and order preparation of fresh produce according to customer specifications.
- Conduct real‑time inventory control using RF scanners to track, verify, and update shipment data.
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 70 lbs.
- Hands‑on experience operating an electric power jack / electric pallet jack.
- Previous experience operating a forklift (such as a sit‑down counterbalance) is a major plus!
- A strong work ethic, exceptional punctuality, a positive attitude, and a natural team‑player mentality.
- Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable in working in a 0 degrees to minus 8 degrees celsius warehouse.
