Your day-to-day:
Receive products from approved suppliers, inspecting shelf-life, quality, quantity, and temperature
Check truck conditions for cleanliness and temperature compliance
Unload and organize materials in designated storage areas (frozen, dry goods, refrigerated)
Follow allergen policy and inventory rotation procedures (FIFO)
Prepare pallets for shipping and move trays using hand trucks or dollies
Verify bills of lading and invoices for accuracy
Operate high stackers and pallet jacks
Maintain cleanliness and order in storage, picking, and packing areas
Record truck temperatures, tray counts, and pallet details during shipments
Collaborate respectfully with team members and other departments
Participate in regular food safety and equipment training
What you bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
Similar experience with documentation/record keeping
Forklift license an asset
Ability to operate fax machine, pallet/power jack, forklift or other warehouse equipment
Able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and work in cold and fast paced environment
