Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments to and from the DC. This position is also responsible for unloading, receiving and cross‑docking of wood pallets and LTL freight in and out of the warehouse in a timely manner. Assisting in the smooth operation of Reverse Logistics (formerly Chep) and SCC.
What you'll do
Verify all receiving documentation and maintain accuracy at all times (i.e. excel spreadsheets, whiteboards, etc.).
Accurately complete and maintain all necessary reports, logs, and forms.
Demonstrate familiarity with characteristics of problem freight.
Work with Logistics Store Support (LSS) to ensure all issues are handled within set guidelines and timelines and coordinate freight issues with the appropriate departments to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
Complete a driver’s inbound paperwork for the receiving operation in a timely manner in addition to completing that driver’s POD to allow him a quick turnaround time.
Diligently monitor all outbound loads through carrier management, Four Kites, etc. and implement recovery options when on‑time service to stores is in jeopardy.
Execute holiday planning to ensure a high level of service during crucial Walmart events.
Daily create a load plan that guarantees on‑time performance, increases efficiency, and reduces cost to the business.
Additional Responsibilities
Ability to prioritize wood pallet and SCC inbound loads and assign doors and packets.
Monitor the flow of incoming pallet loads and LTL freight.
Assist with general receiving process and “receiving/slotting” and research “problem” freight as required.
Complete paperwork in the general receiving area with accuracy.
Communicate with carriers and complete administrative tasks for outbound loads.
Exchange paper documentation with Purchase Order Control and General Receivers.
Receive and ship to outbound DCs and vendor pallet locations and receive site to store freight and scan in E‑SNAP.
Load and offload pallets while verifying freight for accuracy.

The rate of pay for this position starts from $26.40/hr.
