Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity in Calgary, AB. If you have experience operating forklifts, using RF scanners, and supporting warehouse operations, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team.
In this role, you will primarily support warehouse receiving and order picking activities while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately throughout the distribution process.

• Salary: $22.00 per hour
• Location: Calgary, AB
• Schedule: Monday to Friday | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time Contract

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
• Support receiving activities, including unloading, staging, inspecting, and putting away inventory.
• Perform order picking using RF scanner technology to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Stock inventory and replenish warehouse locations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Handle materials and products carefully to prevent damage and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology.
• Ensure all warehouse tasks are completed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Lift, move, and handle products weighing up to 50 lbs as required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating forklifts, including order picker equipment.
• Valid forklift certification is required.
• Hands-on experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Strong understanding of warehouse receiving processes and inventory management practices.
• Previous order picking experience with a strong focus on productivity and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
