Edmonton Material Handler Position

Take on a pivotal role at Powell Canada as a Material Handler based in Edmonton. You'll manage the efficient shipping and receiving of materials to support manufacturing operations.

As a crucial part of the Electrical Division, you'll load, organize, and transport materials using proper tools. Accuracy in receiving and staging is essential to match shipment contents with records. Ensure workspace cleanliness and organization while promoting safety practices in all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute material movement with cranes and forklifts

• Stage and document goods prepared for shipping

• Organize incoming materials for proper distribution

• Maintain cleanliness in storage and inventory areas

• Participate in safety initiatives and meetings

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Minimum 1-2 years in a material handling role

• Forklift certification and experience required

• Basic knowledge of MS Office software

• Previous work in manufacturing environments preferred
