Warehouse Associate

• Pay or shift range: $20 CAD to $25 CAD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Let’s help you launch your career with Alberta Veterinary Laboratories (“AVL/Solvet”)! We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team on-site in our Calgary facility working 40 hours/week (Monday
- Friday).

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day organization of deliveries and the warehouse.

The objective of this role is to keep the warehouse operating efficiently, in an organized and safe manner.

• Pick, stage, and release materials to production staging areas
• Package and prepare finished goods for distribution, ensuring compliance with storage and shipping requirements
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, components, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate data within an ERP system
• Label and store materials according to GMP and company standard of procedures
• Ensure materials are stored accordingly in the correct environments
• Assist with facility sanitation
• Keep warehouse areas clean and organized
• Utilize RF Scanners to transfer materials between locations
• Maintain GMP Compliance
• Work closely with operations, quality, production, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth material control
• Ensure all relevant logbooks are kept up to date, and entries are GMP compliant
• Complete daily equipment checks on all powered industrial trucks
• Report GMP non-conformances, deviations, damage or irregularities in the warehouse to the warehouse supervisor or operations manager
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate data within an ERP system
• Participate in internal and external audits, NCRS, CAPAS, and deviations as required
• Assist other departments as required
• Other duties as required

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years Forklift and Reach Truck experience
• GMP Experience is an asset

• Annual WHMIS training
• TDG Certification
