Warehouse / General Labor II

  • Pay Rate: $24/hour (on W2)
  • Location: Calgary, AB T2C 3G3
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (possible alternate shift of 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for safe and efficient movement, storage, receipt, and shipment of materials within the warehouse and production areas.
  • This role will provide oversight and guidance to the other material handlers / forklift operators.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience supervising or leading teams in addition to warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents and work instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (23 kg) regularly
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Working Conditions
  • Warehouse and manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to moving equipment, machinery, and varying temperatures
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to meet operational needs
