Drive operational excellence as a Material Management Specialist in our Calgary warehouse. This full-time position focuses on material handling, inventory accuracy, and safety procedures.
At Aerotek, your role will involve managing the lifecycle of materials from receipt to shipping. A minimum of 2 years in inventory management is essential, along with proficiency in ERP software. You'll collaborate with teams to maintain accurate records and improve material handling processes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations in a bustling warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy
• Staging and selecting materials for production requirements
• Efficiently manage returns of surplus materials to inventory
• Prepare and pack outbound shipments with correct documentation
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of inventory control experience
• Knowledge of ERP systems and documentation practices
• Certification for operating forklifts and cranes
• Experience in shipping and receiving roles
• Proven ability to lift heavy materials safely
