PGW Auto Glass, ULC is a large international automotive aftermarket distributor of auto glass and related products.
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Warehouse worker / Driver at our distribution branch in Calgary.
The work involves manually loading and unloading windshields, stock put away, general housekeeping duties, loading delivery vans, and deliver the correct orders to the customer in a timely manner.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds as well as climb ladders to get stock higher up.
Be able to read and write English.
Must be reliable/dependable.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8-5. No evenings or weekends.
Must comply with all safety procedures and requirements, which include wearing personal protective equipment such as Steel toe footwear.
Have a clean, full level, class 5 Alberta driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay:
From $18.68 per hour.
Expected hours: 40 per week.

PGW has over 100 warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for general labor, warehouse maintenance, safely loading, and unloading of parts with the use of a pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift and picker.
The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external customers always. Job Duties
- Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment.
- Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments
- Record receipts to appropriate forms
- Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all PGW policies, customer requirements and federal/state/local regulations
- Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
- Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, items, and expiration date (as applicable) damages and follow any special instructions on Work Assignment Form and /or additional documentation
- Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management. Identify process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and meet medium-level physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 75 pounds frequently.
- Experience in warehouse/distribution center.
- Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
