Elevate your inventory management skills as a Cycle Counter with Sysco, a leader in food service distribution. Ensure accuracy in stock counts while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
This role focuses on inventory control, requiring a keen eye for detail and adherence to Sysco's Food Safety Program. You will perform cyclical counts, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of products in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform at least four cycle counts annually
• Count pre-designated high dollar inventory items
• Research errors and discrepancies in returned packets
• Review damage reports for accuracy
• Comply with Sysco’s food safety policies
Requirements:
• 1 year of inventory control experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic PC skills in a Microsoft environment
• Ability to read and interpret procedural documents
• Strong mathematical skills in all units of measure
