Warehouse Supervisor

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials - including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and on-time shipment of customer orders. You will supervise a team of warehouse personnel, manage workflows, maintain safety and quality standards, and play an essential part in keeping production and distribution running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

* Oversee all shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.

* Review bills of lading, shipping notices, orders, and documentation to determine workflow and shipping priorities.

* Plan and optimize storage layouts, trailer loading, routing, and weight distribution.

* Inspect loading processes and equipment; coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.

* Ensure proper movement of materials between receiving, storage, production, and outbound areas.

* Maintain records of shipments, inventory variances, unfilled orders, weights, freight charges, and dock appointments.

* Verify driver permits and documentation required for outbound loads.

* Standardize procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.

* Address service-related complaints and implement corrective actions.

* Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

* Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

* 3+ years of warehouse experience, including lift-truck operation.

* 2+ years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

* Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse environment.

* Strong computer proficiency and comfort with warehouse systems.

* Effective oral and written communication skills.

* Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

* Ability to stand for extended periods.

* Forklift certification preferred.

* Ability to work assigned shift schedule (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
