Stanton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Warehouse Operations to oversee operations of our 450,000-square-foot facility in Calhoun, GA. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and productive operations and will include management of daily warehouse operations to spearhead strategic growth projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in process improvement and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities Include: (But not limited to)

• Utilize a background in warehouse industrial engineering to analyze, design, and implement solutions for continuous operational improvement through workflow and warehouse optimization.
• Development of departmental KPIs and routinely share with senior leadership.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse operation.
• Direct and optimize all shipping, receiving, warehousing, rug fabrication and carpet cut order operations.
• Responsible for maintaining efficient staff levels.
• Provide leadership and support for all operational department leaders.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Effective leader that understands how to motivate a team through positive reinforcement.
• Inventory management and quality control oversight.

Project Management

• Assist in managing and executing Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) projects from planning to completion.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all vendors to ensure reliable service and support.

Performance and People Management

• Strong desire for continuous improvements.
• Safety First mentality.
• Provide regular, data-driven reports on the performance of the departments under your supervision.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and offer training to direct reports to support their professional development and improve team performance.
• Manages performance of all operational departments through system generated KPIs.
• Manage labor costs vs. productivity at the line‑item level through RF technology.

Qualifications

• Strong background in process improvement. Six Sigma qualifications are preferred.
• Metric driven mentality.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a large-scale warehouse or distribution environment. (Minimum of 5 years of experience)
• Strong background in warehouse industrial engineering and process optimization.
• Prior experience in the carpet or flooring industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of facility maintenance, including electrical, HVAC, and fire systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams, with a focus on performance improvement and coaching.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite Experience with and emphasis on Excel and data analytics.
• AS400 experience a preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Carpet cut table and rug fabrication experience preferred.
