The Manager Human Resources is a first-level manager who provides full-cycle HR support and manages the day-to-day activities of an HR team. The role is critical in executing people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

• Train management on effective performance management, handling employee relations issues, organizational change and development, addressing work environment issues, and leadership skills.
• Develop programs, policies, and procedures regarding employment, staffing, and turnover.
• Manage location’s affirmative action program and develop action plans to meet goals.
• Ensure OSHA and other safety procedures are followed.
• Implement and interpret HR policies and activities in accordance with company and legal requirements.
• Oversee implementation, administration, and communication of annual corporate projects.
• Serve as advisor and mentor to subordinates and other staff members.
• Oversee administration and compliance with compensation, benefits, EEO, and other HR policies.
• Coordinate administrative and logistical details associated with day‑to‑day operations of the HR department.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 6‑8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 1‑3 years of management experience.
• HR certification preferred.

• Specialized depth and breadth of expertise in own discipline or field.
• Recognized cross‑functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible, adaptable to change, team player, handles multiple projects.
• High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness.

• Occasional travel required.
• Role will have direct reports.
