Job Summary
Cut stock and custom carpet fabrications for 2nd shift (Mon‑Fri 3:00 PM‑11:30 PM). Hiring/Retention Bonus up to $1,000 within the first year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Cut fabrications as instructed.
- Inspect product at custom and stock production tables.
- Cut damaged pieces out of carpet rolls.
- Inspect returned carpet. Return any undamaged product to inventory.
- Provide backup support to various production tables as needed.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
Must possess superior time management, organizational and priority setting skills. Ability to remain composed when faced with competing priorities and manage multiple assignments through to completion.
Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical DemandsWork performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. May require bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Regular around moving machinery and marked changes in temperature and humidity.
Work EnvironmentWarehouse setting with some outdoor exposure. Standard office equipment and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
