Job Description- Provides leadership to facilitate the development of the hospital’s mission, vision, and values within the department.
- Manages day‑to‑day operations, including staffing and patient flow, under the direction of the Director.
- Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, payroll functions, documentation and performance evaluations.
- Assists at the bedside as needed while maintaining clinical competencies.
- Promotes a positive patient experience using best practices as outlined by the Chief Nursing Officer.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor's of Nursing (Required), Master's of Nursing, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
