- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP
. - Work on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).
- Develop and troubleshoot ABAP programs, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework
. - Work with ALV reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts
. - Develop and support SAP integrations using IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and web services
. - Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants and business teams during development and testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Optimize existing ABAP programs and SQL queries for better performance.
- Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, migrations, and integration projects
. - Perform unit testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews.
- Follow SAP development standards, transport procedures, and change-management processes.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
. - Good understanding of RICEF objects
. - Strong experience with ABAP Objects (OO ABAP).
- Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, and Function Modules
. - Strong knowledge of IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and SAP integration concepts
. - Experience with ALV, Smart Forms/Adobe Forms, and debugging
. - Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
. - Experience working with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, or WM/EWM
. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with SAP S/4
HANA
. - Knowledge of ABAP on HANA
, CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP development. - Experience with Fiori/UI5 or OData is a plus.
- Manufacturing or supply-chain industry experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting large enterprise SAP environments is highly desirable.
