Job Responsibilities
- Convert MRP/MPS requirements into purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Manage external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials
- Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and supply issues
- Expedite purchase orders and resolve supplier delivery and supply chain issues
- Monitor supplier performance and identify potential delivery risks
- Track on-time delivery, supplier reliability, inventory levels, and other supply chain metrics
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for procurement and supply chain performance
- Analyze supply chain data using Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Monitor inventory levels to identify potential shortages, excess inventory, and material risks
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address material shortages and supplier issues
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Finance teams to ensure material readiness
- Support material planning activities for production and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives
- Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, inventory, and material planning data
- Use ERP systems to manage purchasing and material requirements
- Analyze procurement and supply chain trends and translate data into actionable insights
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes
- Explore and adopt software tools that improve supply chain visibility and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material and procurement challenges
- Support operations in a regulated manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and compliance requirements
