Base Pay Range$26.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Brief DescriptionAs a Deductions Specialist at Lundberg you will be responsible for analyzing, researching, and resolving customer deductions to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding company revenue, maintaining positive customer relationships, and supporting continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent collaboration skills across departments and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, research, and resolve customer deductions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to address and resolve deduction disputes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of deduction claims, resolutions, and supporting information.
- Prepare reports and identify trends to recommend process improvements and reduce future deductions.
- Provide support to the accounts receivable team, including cash application and payment reconciliation.
- Manage and maintain organized accounting electronic filing systems and direct deposit records.
- Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and cross-departmental requests as needed.
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, or accounting; equivalent certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are also acceptable.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or deductions management.
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another full‑scale ERP platform in a high‑volume environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proven ability to resolve issues independently while communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer service mindset.
