Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join their growing company, to help build their dynamic accounting department. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Perform variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Provide financial status information by preparing special reports
- Assist with the monthly close procedures
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting sub-ledgers
- Research and resolve account reconciling items
- Records month end adjusting journal entries
- 4 year Accounting or Business related degree required; CPA plus
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, accounting software's and database tools)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of loans side, mortgage industry, is is a plus.
