Woodland Hills, CA Salary: $70,000-$85,000 DOEAdvance Your Accounting Career Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team in Woodland Hills.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, strong technical accounting skills, and experience working with ERP systems.

Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries

Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

Support financial statement preparation and reporting

Analyze variances and research discrepancies

Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules

Prepare accruals and prepaid expense schedules

Support external audits by preparing requested documentation

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting and finance initiatives

Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required2+ years of accounting experience preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP principles

Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end closeERP system experience required (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, Epicor, or similar)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications Public accounting experience a plusCPA candidate or CPA designation preferred

Experience supporting audits and financial reporting
