Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, estates, and other entities Review tax returns prepared by staff accountants and junior tax preparers Conduct tax research and resolve technical tax issues Assist clients with tax planning opportunities and compliance matters Communicate directly with clients to gather documentation and address tax-related questions Analyze financial records and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Work closely with partners on special tax projects and consulting engagements Maintain current knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations Support workflow management and completion of tax engagements during busy season

Qualifications:

5-7+ years of recent public accounting tax experience Experience working within a small to mid-sized CPA firm preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance Ability to prepare multiple types of tax returns with minimal supervision Prior experience reviewing tax returns prepared by staff Proficiency with Lacerte Tax Software Strong Quick Books experience Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field preferred CPA or EA designation is a plus Interested in hearing more?
