** Description of Work
** SALARY RANGE: $29,000.00 - $35,000.00 THIS POSITION IS TIME-LIMITED, GRANT FUNDED, FULL-TIME (30 HOURS PER WEEK).
FUNDING FOR THIS POSITION WILL END ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2027.
Be Part of Building a New Program—And the Team Behind It The North Carolina Conference of District Attorneys is seeking an organized, proactive, and people-focused Meeting Planner & Program Assistant to support our new Mental Health and Well-Being initiative. This role is ideal for someone who loves planning, logistics, and teamwork, and who wants to be part of a collaborative environment where your work directly supports meaningful programming across the state.
About the Role This position provides administrative and meeting-planning support to the Mental Health & Well-Being Program Coordinator and plays a key role in delivering high-quality training workshops, conferences, and webinars. You won’t just support events. You’ll help build the operational backbone of a brand-new program.

** Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
** Training & Event Planning
*** Plan and coordinate wellness, recruitment and retention training workshops, conferences, webinars, and special events
* Research and secure venues and lodging in compliance with state guidelines
* Negotiate contracts, manage BEOs, and handle direct bill documentation
* Coordinate AV, room setup, signage, and on-site logistics
** Speaker & Agenda Coordination
*** Support agenda development and speaker coordination
* Manage speaker logistics, contracts, travel, and honoraria
* Submit CLE sponsor applications and attendance documentation
** Communication & Registration
*** Draft and distribute training announcements and registration materials
* Manage registration systems, participant databases, and event communications
* Serve as a point of contact for attendees and presenters
** Onboarding & Administrative Support
*** Support general office operations
* Track and process grant-related travel reimbursements
* Maintain organized records and shared resources
