The Waunakee Public Library is hiring a Library Assistant. This entry-level position will be scheduled 20 hours a week. We are looking for candidates who can work days and evenings during the week and a rotating Saturday shift.
Library or related customer service experience is desired but not required; a working knowledge of computers is essential. Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Greeting and helping library visitors
- Checking out and checking in materials using a computer network
- Shelving library materials
- Answering customers’ questions
- Opening and closing the library
- Other tasks as assigned
Starting hourly wage is $20.30 per hour. Interested candidates must complete the online application form.
