About the RoleWe are looking for professionals to join Magnus Business Group as Independent Business Brokers / M&A Advisors.
You advise privately held businesses through valuation, preparation, buyer qualification, negotiation, and closing. You manage the advisory process end‑to‑end, with responsibility for accuracy, pacing, and client trust.
You work independently, manage your own schedule, and operate within a structured, ethical advisory framework, supported by experienced leadership.
This is a commission‑based role with flexible hours for professionals who are comfortable taking ownership of outcomes and working through complex deal cycles.
Key Responsibilities- Advise business owners through the business sale process
- Prepare and review valuation inputs and financial information
- Manage buyer qualification and negotiations
- Coordinate with CPAs, attorneys, lenders, and MBG leadership
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professional standards
- Active California real estate license
- Strong financial literacy (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Understanding of business sale structures
- Professional experience in brokerage, M&A, finance, or advisory roles
- High integrity, discretion, and accountability
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Flexible, self‑managed schedule
- Commission structure aligned with quality outcomes
