Construction Worker

Location: Newhall
Job Description

Perform a variety of physical tasks on construction and demolition sites while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Material handling:
  Lift, carry, and move heavy materials, debris, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Site cleanup and prep:
  Assist in clearing debris, preparing work areas, and ensuring site cleanliness.
• Tool use:
  Operate hand and power tools effectively for demolition, cleanup, and material handling.
• Physical tasks:
  Perform labor-intensive work including bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
• Team coordination:
  Work with team members and supervisors to complete tasks on time and according to project requirements.
• Demolition tasks:
  Support demolition activities by dismantling structures, removing debris, and following safety procedures.
• Safety adherence:
  Follow all OSHA safety standards and company protocols on the job site.

Job Requirements

• Physical strength:
  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Stamina:
  Capable of standing, bending, and performing physical labor for extended periods.
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience in demolition or general construction is preferred.
• Tool knowledge:
  Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
• Safety awareness:
  Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
• Dependability:
  Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team in fast-paced environments.
• Communication:
  Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours:

40 - 50 hours per week
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Pay Range: $18.00 - $85.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.
