About the Role
Our client is actively recruiting a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead residential construction projects in the Welkom area. This vital role involves overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and handover, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality homes. You will manage project teams, client relations, and subcontractor coordination to maintain project timelines and profitability. This is a key position for an individual with exceptional leadership qualities and a passion for delivering exceptional residential properties in the Free State .
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all phases of residential construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Coordinate and supervise site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage client communications, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, optimizing costs and delivery schedules.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the residential construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and general office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
