Are you an experienced anesthesiologist looking for a flexible locum tenens opportunity in Northern California? A facility near Redway is seeking dedicated physicians to join their team for ongoing coverage needs starting March 2025.

• Schedule Flexibility:

  • Day shifts: 7 AM - 3 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM.
  • Night shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM (on-call).
  • Weekend shifts available with a mix of day, night, and backup coverage.

• Call Coverage:

  • Beeper call with a 30-minute response time required.
  • On-call duties include both weekend day and night shifts.

• Supportive Team Environment:

  • Collaborative scheduling to ensure providers ease into shifts before taking on night or weekend duties.
  • Shared workload among locum and permanent staff.

• Comprehensive Surgical Cases:

  • General anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients.
  • Proficiency in regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia preferred.
  • Cases include orthopedic, obstetric, trauma, and neurosurgical procedures.

• Practice Setting:

  • Inpatient-focused care.
  • Eight operating rooms supported by an experienced staff, including RNs, MAs, PAs, and NPs.

• Credentialing Process:

  • CA medical license required.
  • Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (clean files preferred for expedited processing).

• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Willingness to cover day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Comfort with various anesthesia techniques, including pain management and post-op care.
